Portable Canopy Limited Warranty

For warranties, please do NOT ship your product or parts back to the manufacturer without contacting EAGLE PEAK consumer support first at service@eaglepeak.com, the consumer purchaser must obtain prior authorization from EAGLE PEAK Consumer Support first.  Our Consumer Support will determine whether a return is required and may request pictures of the unit in place of a return.


Please read and save the owner’s manual instructions before attempting to set up your EAGLE PEAK product.


1 Year Limited Warranty

Please email service@eaglepeak.com before returning the product to our shop. Global Shade Corporation warrants for a period of 1 year from the original date of purchase, this product against any defects in materials or workmanship. At its discretion, Global Shade Corporation may provide replacement parts for defective parts to original purchaser after its own review and examination. Original receipt or proof of purchase as well as proof of defect is required. Global Shade Corporation will not be responsible for shipping costs incurred outside the continental USA. Warranty is valid for the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase and is not transferable. 

This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • This 1 Year Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, abuse or misuse of this product including damage from improper anchoring, inclement weather conditions, such as wind, rain, or hail. In case of inclement weather, take down and store the canopy, remove and store valuables, and seek appropriate shelter.
  • Certain regions are extreme on canopy tops of any kind. If you live in Arizona, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Hawaii or altitudes above 3000 feet the warranty period for all fabric parts, including but not limited to canopy tops and wall panels will be limited to 6 months from the date of original purchase.
  • This warranty does not cover any product purchased through non-authorized dealers and/or online auction websites.
  • This warranty shall be void if as to any product which has been altered or modified in any manner.
  • Wood or metal framed gazebo products OR wood or metal pergola products.

Global Shade Corporation does not warrant against and under no circumstances shall Global Shade Corporation be liable or responsible for any personal loss, injury, or direct or indirect incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product. 

This product is designed and intended for commercial and recreational usage. Prolonged exposure to UV rays will cause any fabric to fade and deteriorate and is NOT covered by this 1 Year Limited Warranty.

All replacement products or parts will assume the remaining warranty of the original product. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. 

It is your responsibility to read and save these instructions before attempting to set up your commercial canopy. We would also like to suggest that you follow these safety precautions, care and maintenance tips when using your canopy.

  1. Never set up or continue to use in any rain, wind or storm conditions, especially lightning storms. Damage can occur to your canopy and put you and others in potential danger.
  2. We suggest that you take your time in setting up the product to avoid damage to the product or injury to yourself or others. Do not overfill your weight bags
  3. Prevent Fly Aways! ALWAYS use proper anchoring techniques including stakes, guy lines and weight bags, to secure your canopy to the ground AT ALL TIMES.
  4. Avoid setting up your product on steep inclines.
  5. Do not use your product for permanent shelter. It is designed for temporary use only.
  6. Keep your product away from heat and flames at all times. Do not barbecue or build fires under your product.
  7. Never leave your pop-up canopy or gazebo products unattended.
  8. Hand wash the product using only mild soap and water. Never use harsh detergents, abrasives or bleach. Do not machine wash fabric components.
  9. Never fold or store your canopy, sidewalls and weight bag when it is wet or damp. Let it dry completely to avoid mildew.
  10. Shade Sails MUST be attached to secure fixing points.
  11. For best results in keeping your top, sidewalls, shade sails and weight bags clean and avoid small rips and tears, it is recommended that the top, sidewalls, and weight bags be removed from the frame and stored in the carry bag after each use.

 

Wood / Metal Pergola and Gazebo Limited Warranty

Global Shade Corporation offers a limited warranty that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. At its discretion, Global Shade Corporation may provide replacement parts for defective parts to original purchaser after its own review and examination. Original receipt or proof of purchase as well as proof of defect is required. Global Shade Corporation will not be responsible for shipping costs incurred outside the continental USA. Warranty is valid for the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase and is not transferable. Regular maintenance of wood and steel components is required to assure the integrity of your product and is a requirement of the warranty. This warranty does not cover any inspection costs.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Labor for replacement of any defective item(s);
  • Incidental or consequential damages;
  • Cosmetic defects which do not affect performance or integrity;
  • Vandalism; improper use or improper installation; acts of nature, including but not limited to wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure;
  • Structural or Component Failure due to snow loading.
  • Minor twisting, warping, checking or any other natural occurring properties of wood that do not affect performance or integrity.

Global Shade Corporations products have been designed for safety and quality.  Any modifications made to the original product could damage the structural integrity of the product leading to failure and possible injury.  Eagle Peak cannot assume any responsibility for modified products.  Furthermore, modification voids any and all warranties.

This product is warranted for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY.  Global Shade Corporation disclaims all other representations and warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Global Shade Corporation does not warrant against and under no circumstances shall Global Shade Corporation be liable or responsible for any personal loss, injury, or direct or indirect incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights.  You may have other rights as well which vary from state to state or province to province.  This warranty excludes all consequential damages, do not allow the limitation or exclusion of consequential damages, and therefore this limitation may not apply to you, however, some states/provinces do not allow the limitation or exclusion of consequential damages, and therefore this limitation may not apply to you.

It is your responsibility to read and save the product assembly and use instructions before attempting to set up your gazebo or pergola product. We would also like to suggest that you follow these safety precautions:

  • DO NOT climb or walk on the roof for any reason
  • Requires two or more people to assemble safely
  • Check for underground utilities before digging or driving stakes into the ground.
  • Check carefully for overhead lines and ensure there is at least 6ft (2m) clearance from any overhead electrical wires.
  • Permanent structures may require a building permit. As the purchaser and or installer of this product you are advised to consult local planning, zoning and building inspection departments for guidance on applicable building codes and/or zoning requirements.
  • Wood is NOT flame retardant and will burn. Grills, fire pits and chimineas are a fire hazard if place too close to your structure.
  • Do not hang heavy objects from framework or roof.
  • Wear gloves to avoid injury during installation.
  • During installation, follow all safety warnings provided with your tools and use safety glasses.
  • Check all nuts and bolts twice monthly during the usage season and tighten as required.(But not so tight that you crack the wood) It is particularly important that this procedure be followed at the beginning of each season.
  • Check condition of wood monthly, sand and seal to prevent splintering.
  • Check the condition of the metal components monthly, sand and paint any areas that show signs of corrosion.
